Sunshine will open a new early education unit to Hervantajärvi! In August 2026 we will welcome new children to a brand-new Sunshine early education unit in Hervantajärvi. Sunshine ELC becomes part of AcadeMedia

Swedish education company AcadeMedia acquires Sunshine Early Learning Centre starting from February 1st, 2026. The change in ownership will not affect the daily life at Sunshine Early Learning Centre. Sunshine will continue to operate under the same name, with the same teaching staff and management. We encourage the parents and guardians to give us feedback, share their ideas and also to take part in our activities. We have had parents visiting us to tell the children about the culture of their home country or to read stories to the children. Sometimes we have also been invited for a visit at a parent’s workplace. The welcoming atmosphere in our early educations centres is bringing together families and cultures from all over the world.
