Sunshine is embarking on an exciting new adventure, building a new early education centre!
Our long-term dream of a modern early education centre will soon become a reality.
Our wonderful new centre will have the following:
- Our very own playground and garden right on the doorstep
- Modern and bright rooms offering possibilities for learning through play, arts, and exploration
- A library for quiet play and story time
- A gym area for practicing motor skills, running and climbing
- A kitchen for food education or learning through baking
- A cosy homeroom for each group
These surroundings, together with our expertise in organising high-quality English early childhood education, promises a wonderful learning environment for children.
Sunshine Ranta-Tampella opens in November 2022.

Some practical information regarding the new daycare centre:
Opening hours: Mon – Fri 7:00 – 17:00 (6:00 – 18:00 available, please ask for more information from the Daycare Manager)
Address: Tampellan Esplanadi 16, 33180 Tampere
- There are parking spaces outside of the daycare reserved for parents dropping off and picking up children
- Bus lines 11 and 30 stop at Soukkapuisto (next to the daycare)
Groups 2022-23:
- There are 5-6 groups in the daycare centre, depending on the age range of the children:
- A maximum of 21 children in the group
- 12 children in the under-3-year-old group
- There are places for 100 children in total
- Groups have their own entrances and each group have their own rooms
Daycare fee (payable after the value of a service voucher is deducted from the total fee):
- 60 – 355 € per month
