Our long-term dream of a new early education centre became a reality in November 2022.

Sunshine Ranta-Tampella, a purpose-built early education centre, is spacious yet cozy. The building offers areas for learning and play both in and outdoors:

• A well-equipped outdoor playground which each group is able to access through their own entrance
• Modern and bright classrooms offering possibilities for learning through play, arts, and exploration
• Rooms for small group activities and quiet playtime
• A gym area for practicing motor skills, running and climbing
• A kitchen for food education or for example learning through baking

These surroundings, together with our experienced teaching staff, provide a wonderful learning environment for children.

Some practical information regarding Sunshine Ranta-Tampella:

Opening hours: Mon – Fri 7:00 – 17:00 (6:00 – 18:00 available, please ask for more information from the Daycare Manager)

Address: Tampellan Esplanadi 16, 33180 Tampere

• There are parking spaces outside of the daycare reserved for parents dropping off and picking up children
• Bus number 13 stops at Soukkapuisto (next to the daycare)

Groups:

• There are six groups in the daycare centre: Rainbows, Drizzles, Clouds, Sunbeams, Snowflakes and Raindrops
• Children are placed to groups based on their age, maximum of 21 children in one group
• 12 children in the under-3-year-old group

Daycare fee (payable after the value of a service voucher is deducted from the total fee):

• 60 – 371 € per month
